So while 3 string slide players will be interested in these they are mainly for 4 string players who have completed the Fingerstyle Workshops and want to learn to play some country blues slide guitar. Again you'll find three half hour workshops, this time with their own set of notes and TAB. The first one covers the mechanics of slide technique and finishes with a few classic riffs. The second introduces you to the essentials of playing blues on a 4 string and the third workshop gives you some classic songs to hone your skills.
3X30 minute videos take you step by step through everything you'll need to play slide on a 4 string guitar.
Lesson notes and TAB are included with each workshop.
All three workshops are integrated with the rest of the site's resources and structured to slowly build your knowledge and skills.
Again we're all about the Blues. Songs includes Ramblin' On My Mind, Catfish Blues, Baby Please Don't Go, Rollin' and Tumblin', Sitting on Top of the World, You Gotta Move, Walkin' Blues and I Can't Be Satisfied.
As you complete the intermediate material for 4 stringers you'll begin to solve some of the mysteries of the fretboard and find your own way around your instrument.
Of course playing the blues is not just about playing a few tunes and so you'll also learn how these classic riffs and songs are constructed and prepare yourself for the advanced improv material to come..
