Here We Go!

Hi Patrick, Hi Everybody,

My name is Trevor, I'm fifty-five live in York, England. Never learnt to play an instrument before, though always wanted to. Love the sound of slide guitar (first really noticed it in the sound track of the film "Thelma & Louise" then heard Ry Cooder's music in "Southern Comfort"). I've bought myself a 3 stringed Cigar Box Guitar off Ebay and this site looks like the best way to learn how to play it. I'm going to study the "3 string fretted" and afterwards study the "slide blues" course. Wish me luck folks!

I think that having a blog is a great way to keep me motivated. I don't think I'm very self-disciplined and committing to a weekly blog may well be the best way for me to keep going through the course when things get a bit tough. It's also a good way of seeing how far you've progressed.
